Hello all, would be possible a version with Action Replay 6.0 on autoboot instead of JiffyDos? I prefer it a lot.. it's twice fast speed, don't blocks TAP and it's very compatible with games and demos Thank you Roberto Maybe I would have to look into it but why not.. I am not sure if its possible, its a cart, that you stick in the cartridge slot, the only way Jiffydos works is I change THEC64 bios, I don't think I can use the Action Replay as a bios on the C64..? dose the cartridge slot take over the bios,I know you can load bios in the Easy Flash 3 cart, well I have one, I do have original C64C and a UK1541..

OH MY GOD.... I GOT IT... folders are working now.... HEHEHE... (had to put the games folders inside themselves.. ) and you can still use all the options too like the soundtrack and Jiffydos.. new version coming with a way of changing folders.. thanks Ploylab... for the idea, well you took ours stuff first.. I had to use 4 fake update files and 4 start.sh files to get it to work.. why 4 well, first start.sh setup all the options and then goes into the games A to G folder so you can run the next update that puts you into H to R folder, when you are on S to Z you will need a way to get back to A to G game set.. so 4 start.sh and 4 fake Updates files, you need one for A to G, one for H to R, one for S to Z, one to go back to A to G(back to A to G is not working at the moment, you might have to restart THEC64 Mini/Maxi and run the update again to get to A to G) Each game folder is called.. games_A_to_G, games_H_to_R and games_S_to_Z and have a game folder inside it with the TheC64MaxiGameTool.exe in each one so you can add games easier to the set but it will not be able grab the games from the firmware but you would rather have this right.. Well you can now fit more games, well I would ... So you can now fit 765 games in it now... wow.. 3 Carousel screens with 255 games on each screen, oh and you can add more Carousel screens if you want. I will keep v1.08 available as well so if you want to use it to grab the games from the firmware or for anything else you can.PCU Update v1.09 coming in the next few days, v1.09 will have the games included with it too, it needs them to show the games are changing when you change to different gamelists, I am going to try and add some more, Stay Safe.

Anyone good at making logos, I would like to have one for this project...? I thought I put it out there, if anyone is willing.. ? I would suggest crispin . If he's still around. I have a problem, well not a big problem but when I get to S to Z, I can't umount the folder on /mnt, I overmounted /mnt so it thinks the S to Z folder is the USB's root(I typed "umount /mnt and it don't do anything..?) so you can run that fake update and script so you can change to a different folder but now need to make the USB go back to its root, it just stays in the S to Z folder and thinks thats the USB's root, I had to put a reboot in on the last fake update script so it restarts TheC64 so you can run PCU again to get to the A to G, I don't like it like that.. It don't look professional.. and it makes you run two fake updates when you only need to run one... any ideas..? If I have too, I will release it like this cause it works still but want it to go back to A to G folder not reboot, will release a update later that fixes it if I have too. I need to add more games but I think I will add more later, It will take to long to add them and put back the release of the new version, I need to release it asap.

Just released PCUv1.09 with Gamelist Screens. PCUv1.09.exe it a 7zip self extractor file. The games are in 3 folders now A to G, H to R and S to Z, it can hold 765 games in PCU now and 255 games per Carousel screen. When you want to change gamelist just highlight the wrench icon and highlight "Load gamelist H to R ›","Load gamelist S to Z › or "Load gamelist A to G ›" to change gamelists. Games are in Carousel_Games/games folder... Gamelist A TO G--> /A to G/games Gamelist H TO R--> /A to G/H to R/games Gamelist S TO Z--> /A to G/H to R/S to Z/games Each folder has its own THEC64 Maxi Game Tool so you can run and add games to the gamelist folder. This has now got games included.. but PCUv1.08 is still available. This was the only way I could do it at the moment , I will release a update soon fixing the folders, it has a unmount problem at the moment. **How to put it on your USB Drive/Stick**Download Folder HEREExtract to the root of your USB Drive and if you want to enable or disable things edit the start.sh script on the root of the USB drive with Notpad++, this is what I use to edit it on my PC (Windows 10). You could open the file with 7zip and copy the files only.. Files inside.. Carousel_Games start.sh theC64-9_9_91.bin to the root of your USB Drive/Stick. Plug the drive into your C64 Mini or Maxi, click the wrench icon and select "System Information" and wait for it to boot and you should see a black screen say "LOADING" then yje Carousel with new games will come up and your using PCU..

(its the thumbs up button on the top right of the post, just in case you didn't know.. Thank you very much spannernick for this work. I come from the amstrad cpc family, more popular in Spain at its peak than the c64, which was also much more expensive. There is no mini or classic version of the cpc, so I decided to buy the thec64 maxi version, a fantastic clunker. I have followed the evolution of this program and I think it has reached an exceptional level. I wanted to propose one thing: create a first carousel with images of (A-Z) to link to another carousel with that letter and that in that carousel there is an image to return to the main menu (A-Z)

I did it this way cause you would need the source code for the Carousel to the C64 Maxi, the C64 Mini Carousel is available, to make it have folders in the Carousel. and I made the folders A to G cause you wouldn't have to go thought loads of folders just to get to Z, thats why it has 3 Carousel Gamelist Screens and I copied how True Blue Mini C64 has the folders..

Oh right so you know which screen your on.. Brilliant idea.. just changing A to G to 0 to G.. Maybe have the name Project Carousel USB on the 0 to G cover to, just notice its on the screenshot.. Could you shear the files you made, there not that bad..?, the PCU logo is based on the US Gold loading screen, well the red lines are from it where it says "All American Software".. I need feedback like this. I am not always good thinking of new ideas...

I need feedback like this. I am not always good thinking of new ideas... I think a good idea is to create language games pack for your emulator ... The C64 games as well as the cpc, msx ... had a great splendor with the adventures with text and graphics, for example, with versions in several languages. In order not to saturate the capacity of the PCU, the PCU could be made to have a series of base classic games and then a series of packs (they could well be in English, German, French and Spanish ... sorry if I leave any important ) with an extractor that could overwrite the PCU base pack. The pack contribution would be the games / covers / games / screens / saves folder It's just an idea.

Thank you for the update !
Much more important would be a "discription" update in the language file. Unfortunately e.g. ß, ÄÖÜ are not displayed (see video) German and umlauts / special characters would be an advantage You could also add the entries D:en in the *.TSG file after D:fr: D:de: D:es: D:it: double / automatically copy / insert
Would that be possible?

maybe someone can make them more "beautiful" Thanks, very nice.. Good idea, it don't have to be brilliant its just to show what Carousel Gamelist Screen your on.. I was wondering if you have time if you want to that is, to update the games that come with PCU with the German translation, I be probably will add more games as I feel like it. Let me know if you want to do that..? If you want a game added to PCU just send it to me and I add it to it, thats including anyone else too, so if you want a game adding to PCU sent to me and I add yours to it too.. but add it using THEC64 Maxi Game Tool then send me the files to add to PCU.
