Some News, I have bought a True Blue Mini C64 and I plan when I get it to copy all the games off of it and add them to PCU so hopefully 480 games are coming.. but will have to hack into it cause they protect they stuff, as far as I know with a ID Check(the script on there USB stick checks if its a C64 Mini or Maxi when you plug it in), anyone know more about them..? And as well want to see what they have copied from PCU too...? I properly have a better chance getting into the USB stick with Linux or using THEC64 itself by shell or Putty to cp everything off it..right..? The TrueBlue Mini C64 USB Stick has a FAT32 and EXT4 partitions on it so EXT4 hides the files True Blue have copied and have no rights too, the FAT32 is where there game tool(Config.exe) is kept so you see it come up then you plug it into a PC or Mac, The Config.exe is a game Tool they made and watching that video before it was taken down it seems not too work properly could he had a problem changing the ports 1 or 2 in it so you could play the games properly.

What does the ID check look like, is it similar to the Mini/Maxi check I did for your script (check in which CPU)?

@spannermick Awesome Job mate, tried it out today, added my own games from previous old method, worked a treat! One thing (too lazy to try it today) do you have to add the '-ms' to the tsg file? I just copied the format for quick try!

-ms is what THEC64 Maxi Game Tool put on the file so it can edit it.

Many thanks for the update v1.10 what is new in this version ? Seems to have a few hundred additional games added in 1.10, probably from the True Blue Mini C64 that was mentioned a few posts back. Thanks. Unfortunately they were never converted to the VICE snapshot format by the True Blue makers (most are d64) so do not always load as fast. Still a great update by spannernick.

I have change the name of the Carousel files now (the64 files) so it would be a good idea to remove PCUv1.9c first before copying PCUv1.10 to your USB Drive/Stick. Plug the drive into your C64 Mini or Maxi, Make sure you in Carousel Mode on THEC64 Maxi before running the fake update to load PCU, then click the wrench icon and select "System Information" and wait for it to boot and you should see a black screen with "Project Carousel USB" logo then the Carousel with new C64 games will come up, 0 to G Carousel Gamelist Screen should load, if you see Franky-Byte Gamelist Screen then you are now in PCU, it now has about 480 C64 games included from True Blue Mini C64..

I formatted my USB and extracted the new v1.10.
Only the first 200 games are showing in each Carousel - should there be more? What is the limit now? eg the last 25 games Galencia to Gyruss are not showing in 0..G.
Also there are a number of double-ups (eg Silkworm, Super Cycle, Tapper etc).

Question, could one also still, after S to Z, install a folder with favorites? This way you could, for example, arrange your favourite games in a clear way. And you can quickly find them again
Would that be possible ?

I used the wrong file.. just found out thec64 file the True Blue C64 is using only shows 200 games so that why you could only see 200 games in the Carousel, I swapped them over but forget to swap them back..

Hello spannernick and thank you very much for the wonderful work you are doing with the PCU project. I am Italian and I wanted to collaborate, suggesting the correct translation for my language of the "000.tsg" files for the three carousels. Obviously I have only translated one but it is valid for all three modifying only the reference carousel. If you need to translate other rest available. PS: Just a small insignificant detail. In the 0 to G carousel folder the "d64" file name has remained "Your in A to G folder" instead of "Your in 0 to G folder" 000.tsg (2.41 KB) Best regards!

And you can quickly find them again Would that be possible ? Maybe something like a folder with nothing in it so you can add games from the 3 gamelist screens do you mean so the main games you use..? You have to arrange the games on the PC fist cause you can't do it on the Carousel. I look into it and see what I came up with..

I will convert all the games, in time so there all vsf files.. That's a lot of work - thanks. I have actually been enjoying the authentic loading process of many of the D64 images. They are usually slower but some have loading screens, music and trainers that are often skipped in the snapshot versions. I guess we can't have it both ways and the Carousel should be about quick loading.

@spannernick yes exactly one empty folder which I can fill on the PC. I can import it again and again after each update from you

carousel is still crashing for me with the new update. Surely one other person has come across this? I have tried everything, multiple usb keys (the games read directly from the usb but not using the modded firmware) Was really hoping the new update would somehow sort my problem Anyway, well done spannernick, great job on this and I hope I will get it working someday..

I can see why the native D64 games imported from the True Blue device are so slow - they enabled 'acuratedisk' in the TSG configuration file for ALL of them. The majority would work fine without it. In fact, I went through some of my favorite games and removed that flag and now they load super fast. I suppose we should not expect a company making money off the work of others to put time and effort into making a better product.

What do you have a THEC64 Maxi, is it freezing..? maybe the music wav is too long in 0 to G if its too long it can make it freeze or crash,I have a THEC64 Maxi PI and it has more memory so can use long wav file. I look into it for you. Can't remember how much memory THEC64 Maxi has of the top of my head.. just looked 256MB memory so that not a lot for it to load and play a wav file, the wav file can be abit longer on THEC64 Mini for some reason but then it will make the maxi carousel freeze so had to get the length right.

Took off one track of the wav file, Formula One Simulator at the end so it was 45 mb now it 34 mb so hopefully it should work... uploaded new version in the same place.. PCUv1.10a.exe Why its happening, maybe is because the wav I am using is for the mini and it was 45 mb, I have a maxi wav file too and thats 43 mb so it might be freezing cause the wav file is 2 mb over. I only know about it cause I got feedback from you lot saying THEC64 Maxi was freezing as I was making this.. Thanks.. All feedback is helpful.. Let me know if PCU is working for you now, Please..? it should work find now.

Working fine on my Maxi with the latest update. F-19 crashes when you start a mission. Think you need to use the crt file rather than the D64 as Iv'e come across this problem with the D64 of it before.
