Yes, now everything is ok but before putting it I wanted to know if now with the PCU-Mini Edition you can always change from 0_Fav to 0_G and more with the gamepad or only via keyboard? Thanks for everything always.

I made a error in PCU Mini Edition and stopped it from booting so I just fixed it so it should be ok now, PCUME will use FUGS only and I might add other stuff like Carousel v1.0.5 and Autoboot if I can, its working it out how to get it to work with FUGS.

Wow, the innext gamepad is now working and configured perfectly, great news.
Can I ask, has the original controller shortcut for changing game lists now been removed?
Great work as always @spannermick and all involved.

Can I ask, has the original controller shortcut for changing game lists now been removed? Great work as always @spannermick and all involved. PCUEM uses FUGS, where you change gameslist by running a update, I am not going to change PCUME at the moment cause I am making more work for me, when I could be puting it into PCUAE and it would put back PCAE v1.20 release, so I am going to leave it the way it is for now, I did played with code today and tried to add the Carousel v1.3.2 and started having problems over mounting the64 file cause of it having to unmount everytime so it can see the next update folder so it can run the next update to change CGS so have to work that out later. I will add stuff to PCUME but I don't want to work on this now otherwise I will lost track what I am doing on PCUAE v1.20.. one thing at a time.. PCUAE uses THEC64 Maxi/THE VIC 20 keyboard now to change CGS, just press CTRL-1,2,3,4, or 5 to change Gameslists.

The first one I got was fake so no good, second one was real.. You can as well use a USB Joy DB9 Adapter too now and Sega Mega Drive Mini 3 button USB Gamepad, If I can add more I will, I used the SDL2 GamePad tool to add them.

Getting them just to add them is above and beyond. Amazing

With regards to changing game lists with the controller, what i meant was, was the shortcut where you press the menu button and fire button on the controller at the same time to change lists removed?

I did remove them, they was part of the script Carousel Gamelist Switcher and I made a new script(Carousel Gamelist Selector) that uses the keyboard only instead cause it works with any keyboard, but in v1.20 it will be give you a choice of using them again, at the moment trying to add them, you will be able to use the Menu button on THEC64 Joystick as the CTRL key, just have to add a way of adding 1,2,3,4,5 on the THEC64 joystick for each gamelist now, if you want to add your button from a game pad your using just use X-Windows Mod to find out what the buttons name are so you can change gamelists with them buttons, like before.

You will be able to add what buttons you like to the Autostart.sh script but the keyboard will be the default PCUAE will use, I am only adding code so you able to change CTRL and 1,2,3,4,5 to what buttons you like... CTRL will have the Menu button already there under `#CGP_CTRL="BTN_BASE2"` just need to remove the hash to enable it or you can add your own button to it. Just start THEC64 X-Windows Mod with CTRL(Menu)-F7 and click on `Test Joystick Buttons (PCU)` on its desktop to get the buttons for you joystick or gamepad.. Do you like PCUAE so far, do you use it alot...?

Get's a massive thumbs up from me too! In the next PCU version, I'm particularly Looking forward to the addition of the second favourites folder with which you can use TCMGT with (as mentioned in a previous post) - being able to easily add my own games to the carousel is one of the big pluses of PCU for me.

Manged to add the code now for the keys so now you can change them to what you like... It took 3 hours but I kept on getting the code wrong, got it working in the end. You be able to run The Carousel v1.4.1 too so make your THEC64 Maxi look like THE VIC 20 and vice versa so it now has 3 carousels versions in it, and I hacked v1.4.1 so you can see all the games as well.. the shortcut keys that are in the C64 emulator like Joystick swap only will work in The Carousel v1.3.2, The Carousel v1.4.1 has changes made to its Carousel so it stops the Carousel working if you mount c64emu-pcu.rgl with v1.4.1. We need the new source code for v 1.4.2, then we be cooking with gas.. Glad you like it.. I like the music I made for it, I just listen to it some times, it good for if you take THEC64 to a Commodore retro show or want to display it. I did the music like that so you can just display THEC64 or just listen to it, Matt Gray's music in there too that was originally on the Carousel, its on the 0 TO G Gamelist...

Do you like the music..?
I made them with Cool Edit Pro 2 and had to mix each tune into each other and they could only be so long, if they were too long they would freeze the Carousel.

Yes I remember you had some difficulty before with music tracks that were too long. To answer your question though, the music is excellent.

There is a PCU Mini Edition that PCU-FUGS renamed, I will adding other stuff to it from PCUAE when I have finish with PCUAE v1.20. Next version(PCUAE.v1.20) you will be able to change the keys CTRL and 1,2,3,4,5 for the Carousel Gamelist Screens to use the joystick instead in the Autostart.sh file, there are only so many buttons on the joystick, if you want to use the other options you have to use a keyboard.

I was thinking there is no point me adding Autoboot to PCUME(PCU - Mini Edition) cause to change CGS(Carousel Gameslist Screens) you have to still run a update to load each one. I can add The Carousel v1.0.5 and v1.3.2(ever wounded why I call it `The Carousel v1.0.5` now, well it from `THEC64` name..`THE` it fits well.. ) but I would have to put the option on the first Carousel Gamelist Screen so once you load say `H TO R` you can't change The Carousel until you are back to that gamelist again. It will not work the same as in PCUAE cause each time you load a CGS it unmount everything including the USB Stick so it can mount USB Stick in the CGS folder(0_fav) so it thinks that is root of the USB(I am fooling The Carousel into thinking its the root of the USB Stick when its not) so it can running the next update to load the next CGS. What you think..?

So, I used the Gametool to add a great new game Neptune Lander Elite to PCU and it works great.
The only thing is, the controls for my Innext controller revert back to the old map were as, the fire button is the right shoulder button.
I much prefer your map which you have used for all the other games in PCU for Innext.
This is what it defaults to JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,JF,JF,JF,JF,F7,F3,F5,JF,,
Can you tell me what it should be to use the map you've used for the other games in PCU where the B button is Fire?
Thanks

Thanks It must be in the games .tsg(the64 Settings game) file, all I did was add the Innext gamepad to the gamecontrollerdb.txt file. This is how I would do it...(there are fast ways of doing this, use notepad++ and Find and Replace option , something like that anyway) Find a game in The Carousel that uses the fire button as the B button on your Innext gamepad and remember its name then put USB Stick in your PC and go to the Carousel Gamelist Folder you saw it in, say Carousel_Games/Games/H_to_R/games then look for the games .tgs file in the game folder and open it with notepad or notepad++, now look for the game in the same way that uses the right shoulder button as fire, once you have found its, then copy the others games JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,JF,JF,JF,JF,F7,F3,F5,JF,, to it going over the top of the 2 already in there so they look the same but one is for J1(Port1) and one is for J2(port2) now save that .tgs file and now it should use B Buttons as fire... I will see if I can change the right shoulder button on the Innext to B Button for you in the gamecontollerdb.txt file, hopefully it be in the PCUAE v1.20 update.. so you don't have change all of your .tsg files.. so do this as a temp way of fixing it cause as soon as I change it, the button with change in the .tsg file so you have to put it back to how it was before so I would keep a backup of the .tsg file but don't keep it in the games folder, you will see 2 version of the game in The Carousel then.

I need the name of your controller your using, I know its a INNEXT Controller but might have a different name in the gamecontollerdb.txt file...? Plug your USB Stick with PCUAE on in to the PC, Then plug in your controller your using on your THEC64 with PCUAE in to the PC, Make sure no others are plugged in to the PC too only your INNEXT controller, now go to Carousel_Games/Options/Contollers/gamepad_tool/ on the USB Stick and run gamepad_tool.exe, it will come up with a picture of a XBOX 360 Controller and have some info below it about the controller thats connected to the PC, what the name of the controller in the info box, its easier just copy the whole mapping String of the controller here by pressing on `Copy Mapping String` and then pasting it on here...? then I can look at it for you and fix it. This is my INNEXT Controller, it name is different, it a Retrolink controller. But most of them are copies of each other cause they all come from China.

Oh I don't think you need to change anything, after you added your Innext controller all the games in PCU work perfectly with B as the fire button. It's only the game I just added which uses the shoulder button as fire.
I think what you suggested would work, copy the controller map from a game where it's mapped properly to the tsg file of this one

Yep, I copied the controller map from the tsg file of another game to the tsg of this game and now it's mapped perfectly along with all the others. The Gametool app must default to the map designed for the original TheC64 controller when you ad new games. All sorted now, thanks

The problem with the gamecontollerdb.txt file is you have to play around with the buttons cause some of them are not what they say they are so like A button on my INNEXT controller is not A its Y in its Mapping string, weird. So it better to edit the games tgs file. What's the maximum number of games each list can hold now? 225 games in The Carousel v1.3.2/v1.4.1 and 300 in The Carousel v1.0.5.

Just done the code for booting up the firmware only so you can update the firmware while PCUAE is running, figured out I could use CTRL-0 and make it do 2 things using a if,then and else statement so now if you press CTRL-0 it will boot into the firmware and if you press it again it restart PCUAE...

Can I ask why the Gametool isn't included in the Fav gamelist folder and also why the folder structure in the Fav list is different?
How do I add games using the Tool in the Fav folder gamelist?
