I have made some custom playlists for RetroArch and added some more functionality for the emulator.
I have remapped the fire button to the left side and disabled save on exit as it was causing a few problems by corrupting the cfg file if it ran out of memory trying to load a game that was too big for the core. I was going to use bezels and overlays to make things look better but ended up with too much slow down so just sacked it off in the end.
I did manage to get the artwork and samples working in Mame so games like Space Invaders have backdrops and sound.
There are also back up folders containing the cfg and playlist files should you run into problems.
Only use these back up files with the correct version of RetroArch.
Game packs are no intro sets from my Hyperspin Build.
Just copy straight over to your USB sticks.
Hope everyone enjoys it as it was a pain to do but managed to get somewhere in the end
