I made the Amiga in 2012. It had A1200 motherboard in A500 case with a Alfa Ram Memory Master 1200 Card that had 9MB on it so I could play WHDLoad games and Amiga CD32 Images. The ram and card stopped working so could not use it anymore, the card was too old so errors on the screen, its a shame, but found its HD Compact Flash Card the other day and made it into a HDF file to use in WinUAE, it bring back memories.. so I thought I make a video of it... Look below for more pictures

This is what left of it now, the top part of the case broke so must be because of how old it is. I do plan on gluing the case back together, Buying another case would be to expense, all the parts are there for the top part of the case, I might put my Cubieboard2 in it so it runs the ArmigaOS and has a real keyboard and Mouse and run Android on it to run UAE4Arm to load its HDF file or maybe put the A500Mini in it, that will depend on if it can load HDF files or not, we will see. It kind of sad what become of it...

Very cool. I wish I hadn't thrown out some Amiga disks I had about twenty years ago. Lol
Take special care glueing that case back together and it will be hard to tell it was. There are specialized plastic glues or I think you can use a solvent that actually melts the plastic a bit but ends up welding them together. Starts with an A but can't remember name. Retro Recipes has posted videos on gluing classic computer cases back together and I'm astounded by the results. One in particular was an Atari 8 bit computer that was so busted up I thought there was no way it would come out as good as it did.

It looks like your keyboard and case could also benefit from some retrobrighting.
It's always the keyboard and case that are the limiting factors in projects of this nature. Unfortunately, replica Amiga keyboards and cases are seriously expensive, and that's assuming you can find one at all.
That being said, I've just looked on Ebay, and second hand A500 cases start at about £30, which isn't too bad. So maybe that a better option that gluing and retrobrighting.

My A1200 keyboard needs a new membrane, I did get it to work with Conductive Gold Paint but it didn't last long, everytime you pull it out of its connector it would remove it and some keys work and others don't. I think I will get a PIStorm for the A500 motherboard, I have a RPI 3 and use that instead and take the keys off the A1200 keyboard and put them on A500 keyboard. This is a PIStorm github.com/captain-amygdala/pistormFor Amiga 500, Amiga 500+, and Amiga 2000. PiStorm is an adapter which uses a Raspberry Pi 3 A to provide a CPU accelerator, RTG graphics card, hard disk interface, Wifi, and others enhancements. I have a Raspberry PI3 B, it still works but you can not close the Amiga 500 case cause you will need a GPIO Spacer that makes it to high for the keyboard to sit in properly so works better with the Raspberry PI3 A+ cause it only has one USB port on it.

That's very cool. I love watching videos of C64 or Amiga hardware being updated with modern accessories. There's a new cartridge for the C64 that has a pi built into it that adds features such as true 1541pi emulation and the epyx fast load, etc. It's self contained and gets it's power from either the cartridge port or the tape port. Can't remember. I think Mr Lurches Things did a video on it about a year ago.
