Hello, I have two d64 images attached in Vice: one in drive 8, one in drive 9. I can access files in drive 8, but not drive 9 I've tried:
... but i just get "device not present" error. The same is working fine with drive 8 (e.g. load "$",8)

Been a while since I loaded 64 stuff in basic but don't you have to put a 1 after the 8 or 9 to specify the side? Load "$", 8,1

First you need to check in settings which drive is selected as drive 9 (default is NONE, so you will probably need to select drive 1541, 1571...etc). c64stuffhave u tried to type load"$",8,1 in basic?  |

Have you enabled drive 9 in settings? Press Menu button on the joystick and have a look at the emulation settings. Enable Drive 9 Assign an image to drive 9 Exit the menu Try load"$",9 then List |

Thanks guys (apologies for non response!) yeah you're right, I hadn't set the drive type in settings. All good now!
