So I started getting my multi-disk demo's working, and the demo, We Are New, well after a bit is playing music and "Please Turn Disk" comes up. How do I turn disk, to side 2 on the Maxi?
I've read something like you save the state of disk 1, then quit and open disk 2. Okay that does nothing. When I open disk 2, I'm just sitting at the BASIC screen of LOAD "*" 8, 1, next line says READY and next line says RUN. But under run is a blinking cursor. If I type RUN again, it just says READY and a blinking cursor under it.
So saving state of disk 1, quitting the demo, and loading into disk 2 doesn't work. Is there a way to load a mult-disk set or not?
EDIT: So I finally saw a youtube video after searching and searching. To open a multi-disk program, here is what you do: At the carousel screen press the Menu button on the joystick, and Switch to Classic Mode. Press Menu again and select Media Access. Find disk one of the program you want to load and press FIRE on it. Then you type, Load"*", 8,1, press ENTER and it should say Loading *, then READY, and all you gotta do is type RUN and press ENTER. When a screen comes up asking you to "turn disk" press Menu on joystick, go back into Media Access and select the second disk and press FIRE. That will load up the second disk automatically. At least it did for me anyway. And this was on the C64 Maxi.
