I've downloaded the HVSC onto my usb stick and Ive also added Sidplay64 but the software can't see the HVSC.
I know I can create a D64 with the music I want to listen to but thats very limiting, is there a way to browse and listen to the Sids like is possible on SD2IEC adapters and things like the Ultimate 2?

You can in PCU(Project Carousel USB), you have to run TheCarousel v1.0.5(CTRL-F1)(it uses the directory driver in vice, the carousel now uses the image driver in VICE so can not see a directory, so can only load image files, VICE automatically uses the Directory Driver, it is the default driver) then run FIBR from the carousel, it on the Favorites screen, then to find Sidplay64 thats included, go into usb_sd2iec folder and you will find it in there, its connected to the extragames folder on the root of the USB Stick, then when its loaded look for the music folder in usb_sd2iec folder and you find sid files in there you can play.
If you can not see FIBR in Favorites screen then you need to copy FIBR.TSG from the Fibr Store folder thats in USB:\Carousel_Games\FIBR Store to USB:\Carousel_Games\Games\0_Favourites folder, then you will see it in the Carousel.

Or you can use VICE to play them, it in PCU too, under the PCU Options Menu.
You can not use the Carousel v1.5.2(1.3.2, 1.4.2, 1.5.1) to play sids via a sid player, it can not read a directory, so can not play them out of the box.

Hi guys! I'm trying to run HVSC in the last update of the Ccarusel but cannot find CBMFileBrowser and there's no hay to emulate the USB as a drive in SIDPLAYER64-SD2IEC Also I've tried to follow the tutorial that you post spannernick but the new version of the carusel is a bit different, Can you help me please  Best regards and thanks in advance! |
