Hi all, I have just purchased a Retrofun single adapter and in order to get it running on my Maxi i have to plug in the original joystick select a game and once its running i have to remove the original stick and swap it in the same port for the retrofun adapter, it will then function perfectly except for not having the 4 selector buttons, i can plug the original stick into an adjacent port and use the 4 select buttons afterwards.
I just don't understand why i can't just plug the adapter in on its own without the swapping joysticks bit, any ideas from other users. (how do you use yours)?
Thanks in advance, Rob.

Just checking, are you using the 'you have to hold up+fire at joystick connected to adapter, before plugging adapter to USB. Then release it (after connected to USB).' method?
