So, many months ago whilst under the influence of alcohol I decided it would be a great idea to edit my carousel using newly released tools.
I got fed up with my changes and decided to go back to the official carousel.
I flashed the official firmware but the carousel changes are still there, shouldn't flashing the firmware have replaced my carousel with the official one?
I'm guessing that the carousel is not part of the firmware, does anyone know where i can find a copy of the official carousel?

The update only updates the files that have changed between official releases. To get back to a "pure" official state, you need to do a NANDB restore. Instructions can be found here, it is not easy to do.

There is another way.
I had some remnants from trying to use old Carousel editor on my mini.
I booted PCUAE and launched the X Windows mod and then edited the nand to remove the extraneous entries on the carousel.
It worked for me but do so at your own risk.
