Here is my collection of 300 games that are ready for the Usb carousel, covers and screen shots are included and also the games that Nick has put on. I would delete the 3 vic20 folders and then copy these 3 folders over to your usb stick so they don`t show up as double games. Onedrive 30mb

Thx for doing this. I started out with a C64 but always was interested in the Vic20 that came before it. I'm foremost a commodore 64 and amiga fan but love seeing any old hardware pushed to it's limits. On that note, Pitfall for the Vic20 came out in recent years and uses raster interrupts to squeeze better graphics out of the machine. For that reason it's tuned to be Pal specific and the maxi or mini needs to be in that mode for it. 8 bit guy gives a brief overview of this game in his video review of the maxi. Also on that note, it'd be nice if somebody releases compilations of newer games for the 64 and vic. All being of course free games that aren't being sold by the author.
Btw question: Do I stick your games in the extra games folder? I'm in the process of installing Project Carousel on the mini and maxi so I'm still catching up on the proper place and function of things.

I did make a mistake when i uploaded these 300 games, as my Project Carousel games has 4 folders with c64 games in as there is 800 in total, so i had to rename my vic20 folders to 5,6 and 7. If you are running a stock version of Project Carousel then you need to rename my vic20 folders to 4,5 and 6, and then delete to stock folders in your USB and then copy the new ones over to your USB stick.

Use PCU Game manager on the PC to import them and setup the screenshots etc.
Test in Vice and if that works you can then export them out as a folder containing any games you select and they will become a carousel like those on the left fire button menu.

Very cool. Thx again for giving the Vic20 so much attention. 8 bit guy in his Commodore history series in the Vic20 video illustrated how the Vic20 pretty much had better graphics than anything on the market at the time, but obviously was limited by the stock 5K of memory. I was pretty shocked to see some of the pictures it was capable of. Same deal with the plus 4 at the time of it's release. Those pics were crazy for a business machine. Obviously the same could be said of the 64, but neither had the gaming abilities or sound of the 64.
