Is there a way to get the maxi/mini to load directly SID files with SIDPlay64 (as it is possible with vice)? Would be extremly nice -- when this is working I hand over the machine to my son for programming and music production and listing  Cheers, Stephan |

PCUAE comes with sidplay64-sd2iec.prg its in extragames/c64 music folder and comes with sid music files, all you do is run the Carousel v1.0.5(CTRL-F1) then run FIBR thats in the Favourites Screen and then go into usb-sd2iec/c64 music/ folder and run SIDPLayer64, The Carousel v1.0.5 has the virtualFS Driver enabled in VICE so you can see the files on the USB Stick.
FIBR don't work on the newer version of the carousel, v1.3.2 and above cause the newer carousel uses the Image Driver in VICE so it can only load image files like D64, Prg, P00, Tap, T64 and G64 files, so can't see the file system on the USB Stick, its probably something to do with the way it loads image files via its File Loader/Media Access.
This was one of the reason why I added Carousel v1.0.5 to PCUAE.

It should work, just copy FIBR folder and FIBR.tsg from FIBR Store to Favorites_1 folder or if there is no Favorites_1 folder, copy it to a different folder, it should work with any gamelist folder, just selected TheCarousel v1.0.5 after you have done this first then FIBR will work.
