Vic20 game Scorpion is the incorrect game - there is a tape game like Centipede and a Maze type game cartridge. I will re capture it and add to the database.

I was thinking, if the PAL games have to be run twice to work on a NTSC THEC64 Mini/Maxi/VIC20 then if you change them from using the VIC II PAL G to VIC II NTSC M then when they are run in a PAL THEC64 Mini/Maxi/VIC20 will have the same problem with the games having to be run twice...?
One way of doing it is, I guess would be to remake the vsf.gz files that are doing it and change them from VICII PAL to VICII NTSC and then overmounting them in a script and getting the script to check to see if the machine is running in NTSC mode or not if not keep the PAL games as they are and if it is running in NTSC mode then get to overmount the game vsf.gz files.

I don't think so, the issue is where the TSG states PAL and the vsf is actually NTSC and vice versa. So all you have to do is to correct the entry in the vsg.

Another idea... Has anyone tried to save the game after its loaded the second time in THEC64 Mini/Maxi/VIC20, it might fix the game then all you do is swap the save with the vsf.gz of the game, when it saves a game it save it as a 0.vsz(its a 0.vsf.gz really, all saves games in PCUAE are in the .THEC64SAVE folder on the root of the USB Drive) all you do is rename the save the same as the games .vsf.gz file is and replace it..?

I think there will still be the mismatch between the TSG and the VSF.

I just did it and it worked and did it with Gadget Mode.. , you will need to change it from pal or ntsc in the tsg file though and it will load first time.
