So this is bizarre. I am recording a review of The C64 for my work and I have it plugged into my ATEM Mini for recording b-roll. Only, the audio from The C64 isn't passing through HDMI to the ATEM Mini audio mixer. I hear audio via HDMI when I plug directly into a TV or monitor, but into the ATEM Mini and no dice. It's not an ATEM problem cause other audio sources pass through as expected.
All I can think is that there is some sort of DRM management happening on the audio output through HDMI from The C64. Which just strikes me as kinda odd. Why would they do that?
Or am I missing something??
I'm such a fan of this device and the Commodore 64 in general... half the fun is the audio and music. But as it stands right now, my video review won't have that audio in it!

It's hard to say, I don't think there is any DRM applied. I use this HDMI capture device with THE64 and sound works well, after I fiddled with OBS's settings to select the correct audio device.

So I ended up trying another HDMI capture device I had lying around and it worked when I brought it into OBS. So who knows why that audio isn't passing through into the ATEM Mini. Very strange.
Thank you! You reply got me to where I needed for the review. Thanks!
