1: In BASIC, the RESTORE key with SHIFT + RUN/STOP should restore BASIC to default colours & reset the sound etc. This doesn't seem to do anything for me. It's in the manual as that combo. (firmware: theC64-1.4.2)

Left Shift + power button will soft reset, but that's not what I want. I'm always accidentally setting the text colour to the background!!

so it's difficult to save the program.

2: How do I access a Super Snapshot cartridge?, it's a button on the cart in real life. Mashed a lot of combos! and looked for answers to no avail.

I got the RESTORE to work. It's a very precise sequence. Hold down RUN/STOP, then press shift + restore all together. otherwise the RUN/STOP command will kick in.

Not sure the cartridge is loaded though. There should be some difference in BASICs startup text I think. It's listed in the Media manager in the cartridge slot.
