Hi all,
I did genuinely search for this answer and maybe it's like a "duh!" question, but here goes...
Between the UK and USA versions, what if any are the technological differences?
I'm from the USA and wasn't sure if ordering a UK version was a good/bad/watch-out-for-this idea?

For the Mini there is a difference, the USA model outputs NTSC 60Hz, the European model outputs PAL 50Hz. So you would need a TV that supports PAL. For the Maxi there's no difference, you set the TV mode when you first start the Maxi. The power supply will have a UK plug and might not be suited for 110V,but you can use other USB power supplies. |
