OK looking at it it has Android Adb in it but it would its using a CPU for a Tablet,so its really a tablet without a LCD screen, what makes me laugh is the folder Alarm and voiceCall ... So it could be part Andriod(Android is Linux) and Linux cos it has Usr folder in there.maybe 2.23 oh.. alsa driver... thats what Vice uses for its sound in the RPI,so its using the same sound driver.Problem with emulated sound its flat,on a real C64 its 10x better.you can hear the difference. Half of the files that are in there it probably don't use but needs it there cos its part of the OS. It has gpio files too, this is looking more like a RPI hybrid. Anyone know what version of linux is uses..?

Anyone know what version of linux is uses..? There's a very interesting part on these files... Seems that the only multiload games are the Epyx Summer/Winter/World Games and they're not in the D64 format... They're in CRT. There's only one CRT files for all the Epyx games and it contains everything. The curious thing is the CRT file is not an official release... it's been released here: csdb.dk/release/?id=107705So we can deduce that internal VICE emulator load CRT files too....

Yeah it uses command line to run them from the FE interface.(well it is a front end its sends the command to run a game or Basic to Vice),Like how you don't see any commands when loading a game it's cool,I wish Retropie did this, you see runcommand when loading a game from Emulation Station or Attraction Mode.No need for it to be there really.Only for testing if it loads the game.

Yes it seems t load crt's if you load a crt (e.g. Prince of Persia) in Winvice 2.4 and then save a snapshot including ROM files it loads fine on the C64Mini. Also, the Linux kernel is an Android kernel (or at least the nanda is an Android kernel + ramdisk image).

There running a old version of Vice.. VSF files don't work in new version and the Carousel app(the64) is made with OpenGL ES,the OpenGL ES in the RPI, its the same one but a older version. Very clever, they have made a app that is made with OpenGLES and added the emulator(Vice) inside it so when you turn it on what your seen is the Carousel scrren in front of the c64 emulator(is run in the background, the whole thing is a emulator),its run behind the carousel screen so the emulator is part of the app.Clever good idea.. It uses .glsl shader files so thats how they do the different screens like Pixel perfect, European 4:3 and North American 4:3 and scanerlines. OpenGLES is a old version, there are files in here from 2014,well they started this 2 years ago. Don't matter how old the files are just that it works the way it should and it does,There be no reason update the OS,all they will do is update the Carousel app,it would be a lot of work updating OpenGL ES and the OS. Why fix it if it's not broke.. Is the file system all there, is any files missing...?
