Old or New Dot matrix printer? TheC64 MAXI Via USB or any way else? Would like to use the old Print shop programs.

VICE can do this, using the OpenCBM driver (https://github.com/OpenCBM/OpenCBM). However, OpenCBM uses a PC parallel port.
For the The C64, you'd have to modify the driver to use either the UART or somehow use one of the USB ports to communicate with the outside world, build the driver for the The C64 and manage to load it, and then you still have to find a way to enable this functionality in VICE, which may not be possible depending on how VICE was compiled.

THEC64 Mini/Maxi/THE VIC 20 was made to play games with and to make programs on, not to add other device from the commodore line to it, maybe when the source code becomes available then maybe..
