Hi everyone, I have just unpacked my new TheC64 Maxi and tried to play some games. Even though D64 files are perfectly recognised and loaded, I'm in troubles with T64 games. They are stored in the same folder but they are shown with a different icon (ok, they're not disk games so the disk icon shouldn't apperar). The problem is that, when I click on them, they are not loaded and nothing happens except a light sound is played suggesting me something like "I cannot do that".
Do you know why this might be happenning?
Thanks for your help.

Have you pressed fire or A button on joystick and have you tried USB File Loader and Media Access..?

I did try fire/A button on joystick WITH the USB File Loader and Media Access. I mean, I have not tried typing "LOAD" in BASIC mode...

Eps! I have found something interesting! If I disable "fastloader" THEN some of the T64 files work! (I have not tried with all them yet)

RESOLVED: t64 files shouldn't be "inserted" in the tape unit (A button in joystick) but just launched with the second small button from the left (rocket icon).

T64 files are program files, its not a TAP file, a TAP file is a copy of a cassette game, people think its a tape64 file when its not, can you try this and change one of the "game.t64" file to "game.prg" and see if it will load it. If I want a game on cassette, I always look for a TAP file for it, not a T64 file, I like the loading music.. .
