I have a Old Raspberry Pi B and I want to run Vice the C64 emulator,years ago I did run it on it with RetroPie but I am after only the C64 emulator. This is it,I sure you remember it..?  Why you may ask,well I have a RPI3 in a Sega Mega Drive/CD to play sega games. I wanted to put it in thec64 mini (like someone did on FB,RPI and theC64 Mini Main board in the case together so I can swap and change)so I can play other games like CRT(cartridge) and TAP(Cassette) games. So dose anyone know of a C64 Emulator that still works with RPI 1 B..? |

I got Combian64 running on my Pi B recently. (https://cmaiolino.wordpress.com/)
It is just a stripped down Raspbian that boots straight into VICE direct to the BASIC interface.
Unfortunately you need to get permission from teh author to download it but that only took a few hours for me.

Thanks,just tried 2.8 and it works..wow,but its not full screen,it has a black boarder around the c64 screen,I guest in would work cause the RPI 1 B is like RPI Zero,now its working, I can use composite if I want to play it on a TV that don't have HDMI,best of both worlds..  How would you put it in TheC64 Mini case,looks like I have to keep the case open,not screwed together so I can connect the power,will have to get extension for the power USB mini connector,any one know if they are made..? |

I just loaded Wizball form my SD card reader that I use on TheC64Mini..  I enabled CTR Emulation and it slowed down the emulator to a crawl.I can't find True Drive Emulation to turn it off. |

I just updated my Raspberry PI in TheC64 Mini to RPI3 so going to use Attraction Mode and Retropie and make Attraction Mode look like TheC64 Mini interface,it like Hyperspin you can customize it so you use it in a arcade cabinet. forum.attractmode.org/index.php?topic=705.0 |

Is there any issue with installing both Emulation Station and Attract Mode do you know? Not tried Attract Mode but looks a bit more like LaunchBox which I really like on PC.

No they work together you can run Emulatoin Station or Attraction Mode, its all on one rpi image AM it reminds me of the skins on 3D Arcade Is there any issue with installing both Emulation Station and Attract Mode do you know?
