I recently bought the C64 Mini and tried to hook it up to my Sansui SLED2453W TV and when I turn it on the TV respond with "Not Supported" Has anyone seen this before? Full disclosure, I live in the US and the TV is about 3 years old. The C64 I bought was off Amazon, but was from Europe.
I am hoping it is not a US compatibility problem. Cheers and Thanks, Steve btw - What is the default resolution for the C64 Mini?

Yes thats a good question,Got it,its 1280x720p,thats what it says on my TV.. its should work fine,My Hitachi L42Vk04U it works fine. I have another TV thats about 10 years old its a Phillips LC171W03-C4 and it will not work on that too,I think it said resolution not supported but my tv don't have a HDMI on it,it has a DVI-I port and I have a cable thats a DVI to HDMI,its weird when my PS3 can use the cable. You might need to get a converter or something,to converter the resolution to the right one for your TV.I was thinking of converting it to s video or composite

The current version of the Mini is 50Hz. Many older US screens don’t support that frequency. Most newer models can do auto-detect and match the input frequency.
Unfortunately, HDMI is only a physical standard. There’s no fixed standard for the actual signalling.
Aparrently, there will be a 60Hz version for the US market. In the meantime, you might need to try a newer screen...
