Nice one... its a shame we have no computer mags in shops in the UK no more, the only one I have seen is in ASDA and thats the Official Playstation Magazine that like £5.99 or £6.99(it price goes up and down for some reason) or XBOX Magazine, no news agents have them anymore, they manly now have just Women and TV Guides Magazines. I use to buy ZZap64 in the 80s and they then had loads of them. Probably cause of the internet and you have to mail order them now from there website.

I use to buy ZZap64 in the 80s and they then had loads of them. Probably cause of the internet and you have to mail order them now from there website. The issue I think with distribution in the UK is that WH Smiths, the main distributor for printed matter, changed the terms which affected publications with small readership of say 5,000 copies on the official ABC figures. And for Smiths to take on magazines you would have to print twice what your official ABC figures were at any time. The terms changed so that small and independent publications that had small profits or even were running close to break even, couldn't afford to carry on. All of a sudden, the number of computer magazines dropped substantially. Popular Retro will be printed, but the only way it can be realistically distributed without a huge loss would be via mail order. I don't think it'll be available at any newsagents in the UK unless small independent chains buy up copies and share the risk. Regards, Shaun.
