When using the commodore4ever modem with CCGMS, I get the modem connected and get through all the steps and get confirmation I am connected at 9600 baud. But every telnet address I enter responds with "no answer". Not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

Yes, I do everything exactly as in the video but when I try ATDS1 or an ATDT with a BBS address I get "no answer". Thanks if you can help any further.

Maybe BBS are down but not all of them can be, is there a way to check to see if the internet is working on the modem from the C64, there might be something wrong with the modem, like see if there a program that can ping a IP address or something from the C64, if it can't then you know the modem is not working properly. See if you can do the same thing with VICE and connect to a BBS board using CCGMS then do the same thing on the C64 and connect to the same BBS, it sounds like it not connected to the internet properly.
Is it connected wirelessly to the router properly and have a internet connection.

Yes, I get the same exact screen as in the screenshot after typing ATC1 and then ATI in CCGMS with a commodore4ever wifi modem. But every telnet address returns "no answer" (without any delay). It appears I am getting connected to my linksys router (I'm using the guest network (2.4ghz) but I can't get further than that. Thanks for your help.
