Need support, maybe you can help me, I want to play my mini on an older tft vga monitor. But when I plug it in he shows me that it is outside the frequency range. is there any way to change the frequency of the minis? I use the monitor via an HDMI-VGA adapter and the adapter works very well because I tested the monitor with another device.Anyone have some helpful ideas or is it impossible to get the mini to run on the monitor.

When you tested the monitor, was it with this particular HDMI-VGA adapter, with something other than TheC64Mini plugged into it? Or did you test the monitor with something other than the HDMI-VGA adapter?

I first connected the mini and received that I am outside the frequnz area ...to rule out that the monitor is defective I then connected my laptop via hdmi cable and the adapter and it worked. then I tried an atari flashback on it and it worked too. it seems that only the mini has the problem with the monitor

I don't know much at all about these HDMI adapters... but I would have thought that it was the adapter that converted and set the frequency (as it does the converting part). But, I guess not.

You can try to switch on the Mini without HDMI-cable/converter attached. Wait a little bit and then plug in the HDMI cable.
Also, do you have a PAL or NTSC Mini?

I have already tried that without success ... I am from Germany and therefore have a PAL mini. What I don't understand is the fact that the atari flashback that has the same resolution works on this monitor

I have already tried that without success ... I am from Germany and therefore have a PAL mini. What I don't understand is the fact that the atari flashback that has the same resolution works on this monitor The Atari Flashback perhaps has vertical sync 60 Hz, but THEC64 MINI PAL has 50 Hz. You can see what sync the Atari has by showing info on the monitor. I also have old HP monitors and they only handle 50 Hz through the VGA connector, so I have to use a HDMI to VGA adapter that also gives sound out. I have even older monitors that can't handle 50 Hz at all. You could probably buy a used monitor with HDMI and 50 Hz for less than an HDMI to VGA adapter.
