Hope someone can help with this. I understand the c64 Mini is supposed to support Tap files however, I have never been able to load them. When i select a Tap file from the usb stick, the c64 mini just loads into basic. Shift runstop or load dont do a thing either. Is there something I am missing. I have the latest firmware so I am really not sure what's going on.

Have you try it with fast loader disabled...?(when on USB File Loader press C to disable or enable fast loader) Once its been disable, it will have a X over it then highlight a Tap file and press Fire to load that Tap file.
It should Autoload it now, its don't ask you to "PRESS PLAY ON TAPE" it just loads it. you see the name of it came up and then go away and continue to load.
If it still don't load or work then try the TAP file in Vice C64 Emulator on the PC or whatever you use and see if it loads, if it don't then its the Tap file that the problem.
THEC64 Mini uses VICE 2.4 C64 Emulator to run C64 Games.
