COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It's caused by a virus called coronavirus.
Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms Stay at home if you have either:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature) a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual) Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
Use the 111 online coronavirus service in the UK to find out what to do or search online in your area for information.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How are you, lucky I don't have it yet and I don't want it, I have COPD already and other problems, If I get it, it will probably kill me.. 300 people have died in London so far.. Thanks to Chinna we have coronavirus.. , My Chinese shop has closed because no one is buying Chinese takeaway food now. Schools are now being closed on friday, until further notice...wow... soon London will be locked down People are panic buying in supermarkets too and not thinking of others, you need to think of one another, we all need to eat so if some need help, help them, its like world times,we need to stick together.. Now how are you coping with coronavirus..? If you want to chat about here you can say whatever you like so you can vent about it..

I remember a c64 game, it was about infection. It's called "Agent USA". It demonstrates how quickly infections spread. I was never able to finish the game successfully. Stay healthy.

Life right now isn't all that different for us. Living out in the middle of nowhere on our homestead is pretty much self isolation anyway. I guess the biggest change for us is that we don't get to visit our elderly neighbors anymore - just from a distance when we go do some grocery shopping for them. Also, we now see many empty shelves at the stores, but thankfully we've already got a pretty well stocked up larder. We've been "preparing" for something like this for many years now anyway, so we haven't been caught off-guard like most. Been playing some new games on TheC64Mini, to pass some of the time, as we wait for gardening season to start. Did a brief review of some of the new games on my blog, here.

I have been in isolation since 24th March 2020, although I haven't been ill, but taking major precautions any how. Only been out for exercise. Been making some C64 stuff, tape mastering and been releasing some of it during the quarantine time

I have been inside for the last 3 months since I have a weak immune system. I have not seen the sun for ages.

Thank you for all of your efforts!

I don't go out much to be among stranger, I was never really one for going out to large populated events, but I have been prepared for it that way. In another way, no. I don't like the foreboding feeling of this plague looming over you and don't know who could have it and if you're out if you got sneezed or coughed on that could be it, you're infected. I stay away from people when out, the most is passing by them, if I am to talk to someone it's of at least 2 meters. Also I wear a mask going shopping, ...... but it's not just that, it's the mental pressure, the uncertainty. It's not pleasant at all. I am fortunate that where I am hasn't been hugely hit, (so far), but I am sharing a house and need to move as one guy can't grasp the idea of social distancing and is completely ignorant too. So, in the name of German Heavy Metal legends Helloween, "I Want Out".
Apart from that I am very fortunate, I have access to food and shelter, and internet connected and I can talk to people daily, and now I have my C64 Maxi to keep me entertained.
I followed what happened in New Zealand. I think Jacinda Adern did a phenomenal job and got it down to zero cases, (according to reports anyhow), I think we should take a cue from what she did. I know you couldn't copy and pase the idea as it wouldn't exactly work everywhere, but definitely there is something to be learned.
Where ever you are, I hope you're well and safe. Stay in, it's better with the Commodore 64/The C64.
