Hi all, first time posting so I'm hoping someone can help me here. I've had my theC64 for a couple of months now and it's been working fine but an issue has just cropped up and I hope someone can explain it to me. I have a USB stick but now, every time I plug it in the keyboard stops working. If I unplug it the keyboard starts working again after about 5 seconds. I have reformatted the USB stick and it still does the same even though the stick is now empty. Like I say, it was working fine up until a few days ago and I'm at my wits end trying to work out what has happened. Any suggestions gratefully received

Either way, you could try with a different power supply or a different USB stick. Also if not done already try a different USB port?

It's a maxi. I tried different ports but they were all the same. A different power supply did the trick although interestingly the one I'm using now is rated lower than the other one! Thanks for your help

I don't know if this is related but I've noticed I can't plug in a stick and use it unless I plug it in with the power off and the start the c64. Works fine then but not if I plug a stick in while it's on.

If your power supply is to low then the Carousel with not boot,It does it on mine so I don't see it not being the same on the real Maxi. It should be 5V 2A,you can connect it to your PC but if its connected to a USB Hub then the Hub needs to be powered for THEC64 Maxi to work properly.
What does your power supply say..? does it work ok with the Carousel Games from USB..?
