Hi there,
after having gone through the official manual-PDFs, the FAQ on the homepage, the various threads in this forum I've no further ideas. My new C64 MAXi produces no sound, when connected to my Technisat-TV. I already tried different HDMI-cables and different HDMI-ports. I also realized and tried the sound enable/disable - option when in carousel mode - no change. I have several other consoles and video players, also connected via HDMI, and they all work fine including sound. My Technisat-TV can display technical data, which formats are received via HDMI, sound-data from the C64 MAXi is displayed as "compressed". Do you maybe have further ideas, which I did not try yet ?
best regards, Hammi

Hi Nick,
thanx for your reply. O.K., I took my C64 MAXi to a friend and connected it to his Samsung-TV. Sound is played fine there. So it's a problem with my Technisat-TV. But because all my other HDMI-devices work fine with sound, the TV shouldn't be defective. So I opened a support request at Technisat, described the problem precisely and hope to get a helpful reply how to adjust some very specific settings deeply hidden in any submenus of the TV.
In case I won't get any helpful advice from Technisat, I'll contact Retro Games / Koch Media.
Only as a last resort I would consider buying a HDMI Audio Splitter.
best regards, Hammi
