Don't blame Amazon when Koch Media simply decided to give the stock to Media Markt instead. Media Markt (Retail in Germany) has THEC64 in store at €119 - where nobody will really buy them, as with the Mini a year ago... Attachments:

Well they would there a German company, Amazon should sue them ..Dam Deep Silver.. That looks like Makro..? Anyone else have this problem..? or did you cancel you order and go with someone else,I don't have that choice now, most places will not have it instock now so close to Xmas and have to wait for Amazon to give my money back and that can take 3 to 5 working days,Not happy,I know its just the Joystick but thats not the point. Its show how bad Koch is really. It was made in the UK so the UK should be stocked first not Germany not a place where it's not going sale alot of them.

Don't want to be nitpicky about this, but Germany actually is THE place to sell the C64 - because nobody in Germany ever owned a ZX Spectrum... :-)
No, believe me, I was around in the business between 84 and 89 and C64 was by a far margin the only home computer system that sold well. Amstrad/Schneider CPC was also doing SOME numbers, but compared to the UK which was Spectrum country the C64 had much more weight in Germany. (In the US you also had Apple II and Atari 800 which again were niche systems in Germany).

Same problem here with Amazon France. Canceled my order (made a thread a while about it )
So I decided to buy the Competition Pro instead. Got it now and work well on my mini...buyed it 29€ instead of 22€ for the official "thec64 micro switchs" and have only 4 buttons, but believe me it works very well, I don't even think about buying a C64 one, but i 'd like to now if anybody got one if it's a good one...
BTW here in France no Shop like Micromania or Fnac seems to have THEC64maxi to sell...I even doubt they know anything about it. Strange as I buyed mi C64mini in Micromania here in Le Chesnay...they are more interested in last Fortnite's releases I presume!! (retrogaming in France is not that "popular" indeed :/)
