Hi all.
I just got a C64 Mini as a gift, and right after updating the firmware the next thing I want to do is getting a Slik Stik or similar vintage joystick, because I really really don't like the provided joystick.
I'm still new to these forums, but from what I have understood it's possible to use a vintage joystick with the Mini using some 3rd party adapters.
How do you manage the "special" buttons on the original joystick? How do you recall the menu, for instance?
I guess you could plug the original joystick, a vintage stick+adapter, a keyboard and a flash drive with games, and be content for most 1 player games.
But what with 2 player games? If you plug 2 slik stick with an adapter each, wouldn't you lose access to the menu?
Is there an adapter that you can buy (sorry, no skill, no time, no drive to build me one) that also provides the extra buttons?
Thanks

If you have a USB Keyboard connected to THEC64 Mini, you can use the Keyboard as the 4 buttons on THEC64 Joystick ... Because THEC64 Mini uses the same Carousel as THEC64 MAXI it can use the same keys.
