Is anyone else experiencing there is a distinct delay on the sound when two joysticks are attached? I am using 2 official joysticks but it makes games like MULE unplayable as you need the sound cues in the auction. Other games, such as Impossible Mission, have a delay too when two sticks are attached. They are fine when only one is attached.

I’ve not noticed any lag in the sound myself, however my second device is a cheap pad. Will be able to test with a second official joystick tomorrow.
Do you just have yours plugged directly in the the device with nothing else attached, or do you have other things plugged in, such as keyboard and USB stick, via a hub? If so, ensure your hub is powered and your Mini is receiving at least 2A (preferably 2.5A).

A USB stick plugged into one USB port and the two sticks plugged into the same Hub in the other port.

I’m using the same hub and powering my Mini from it. I’ll report back tomorrow when I get my second official joystick. For now, I don’t have any suggestions, sorry. There may have been some previous posts from the old forum about sound lag. Most of those posts are now available here. Or someone more knowledgable than me might remember something about this sort of thing...

Nothing to add other than I've noticed the machine does slow down a little if your using scanline mode.

Just had a quick play on Gauntlet, Impossible Mission and Uridium and not noticing and lag with both joysticks connected. Not sure what to suggest. 😕

There were issues with the 1.06 firmware and two-player games. thec64.com/upgrade/
