Is it possible to load a disk from the carousel and if so, how do you do that? Because when I try to load games with multiple files from carousel by adding the disk into the gzip file instead of the screenshot, it just load to a basic screen and can't load because disk drive isn't attached. Are there options to be set inside the config file?
Also, of I load another game first, it loads that game when I start the disk game.
The reason I try to add the whole disk is due to having multiple files of the game on them and else it gets stuck loading or asks for the disk.

The only way I see to do that is to use a PC to create a .VSF Snapshot in Vice 2.4 (! NOT 3.X!) and make sure that you checkmark the "Include Disk Image". Putting just a .d64/.d81./.d82 in the Carousel is not really the best way. All the games orginally shipping with the C64 Mini are Snapshots (OK, or hacked cartridges), which has the added "convenience" that you do not have initial loadtimes and/or Intros and Cracktros... These can NOT save to disk (as you always load that snapshot with the disk image) but if you use the snapshot function inside the Mini for Save/Load you can continue anyway. Currently there is no way to get Multi-Disk-Games into the Carousel.

I meant more like games with only 1 disk but several files on them for loading within the game.
Multi disk games is indeed not possible unless you go through the save/load process with same disk names
