Looking for help in getting my North American C64 Mini to play games on the USB in PAL so that the speed is what I remember from ym UK C64.
From various sources a default CJM file can be created in the same folder as the D64, PRG or TAP files.
Using the CJM file creation tool to test Commando to run in PAL rather in NTSC but so far the mini seems to ignore this.
Test 1: I created a "thec64-default.cjm" file in the same folder as Command.d64 Test 2: Rename the cjm file to "Commando.cjm"
Both have the same result where the speed of the game if NTSC (Gameplay and music is slightly faster).
Contents of the cjm file:
<SNIP> X:pal,driveicon J:1:JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,JF,RS,SP,SP,RS,F1,F7,RS J:2*:JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,SP,RS,EN,SP,F1,F3,F5,RS <SNIP>
Has anyone else had any luck in this?

I have the exact same problem. Also, if I use filenames with "_TP" in it to switch the games to PAL, they still run too fast.

its running at 60Hz so you need a PAL version of the Mini, PAL runs at 50Hz so you need it at 50Hz for it to be the right speed, PAL games run slower,The C64 Mini has no option to change its speed from 60Hz to 50Hz thats why there are two versions of TheC64 Mini.
Only way is find a version of the PAL game that was made to work on a NTSC C64.
