Great news! L'abbaye des Morts is out today and a download of the game is available for purchase! I pre-ordered my physical copy (on floppy disk), back in October. But, I was able to download the disk image today and tried it out on my C64Mini. It plays perfectly on the Mini and actually performs well with the Mini's joystick. I've only played the game for a little while, but I enjoyed it and am looking forward to spending more time with it. Well done, Double Sided Games!

Holy hell, it's impressive too! I'm a big fan of Locomolito's games and this is a bit of an upgrade over his original PC version. Really nice graphics and sound!

Yes, I've played all the ones I've purchased from Psytronik successfully on the Mini; these include Steel Ranger, Argus, Organism, and Joe Gunn.

Yep, they work! Steel Ranger is definitely better if you map the up direction to one of the fire buttons.

I bought "Guns and Ghosts" yesterday, pretty nice game, work perfectly for me (even on my old Trinitron TV i now use for the mini), the only thing is you have to choose between music and FX, soundtrack is hyper repetitive and sound fx are, huh, not very convinced indeed :-p Maybe ill try others thar so cheap and well looking! (theyre boxset visual for games are ultra nice by the way)

If it helps, I've written a few reviews of Psytronik games on my blog. I did reviews on Organism, Steel Ranger, and Soulless. Maybe they can help you decide whether you want to purchase them or not.

Definitely agree with your review of Hessian vs. Steel Ranger. Hessian was frustrating and SR fixes all the control problems. The music in Steel Ranger is some of the best too, Love it! It's like a Turrican metroidvania

Souless seems to have awesome graphics, had on eye on Steel ranger because these the kind of action-platform games are the best for me (i m a crazy fan of Castlevania's game even the "not so good" episodes)...thanks for these reviews..!

There's a game called Space Moguls that I really like too, it's a re-imagining of MULE. The graphics are crazy good!

Just finished L'abbaye des Morts and I tell you, I would not have been able to do it without the Mini's save state. Man, the game has a few tough screens through which to navigate, but not in an annoying kind of way. I was also a little puzzled on how to collect the last two crosses, but finally figured it out - once again, thanks to the Mini's save states. I don't think I posses the skills any more to complete this game without saving. I certainly don't have the time or patience I used to have. Lots of fun and well done, Double Sided Games!
