Hey guys!
I finally modded my c64 yesterday, but I was still having some questions related to multi disk games. I know it is possible to play multi disk games by saving on basic and then renaming the usb d64 file and loading up again, but that is a lot of hassle and I want to add games like Turbo Outrun and Marble Madness to my carousel, but as those are multi disk games, I have no idea on how to do this...
Hope you guys know of some way

Disk images in the carousel are just a try for me, if the wanted game doesn't exist in crt.

Good idea is to avoid .d82 if possible (space) and use .d81 instead. Much more compatible (at a real hardware and emulation). But guys, you know of VICE snapshots that you can use at Carousel, don't you? It is not the perfect solution, but for some game it could be a solution - if game does not need 1st disk anymore. Switching disks of same filename is trick that works - it is boring, but it is not so hard when you used to it. It is as fast as you needed to switch it at original hardware. gurce.net/c64mini/playing_games_that_span_multiple_disks#use_a_new_workaround_for_disk_swapping

I for instance have issues with Run the gauntlet. It is a 1 disk game, but due to loading in between it doesn't work with snapshots. Also, adding the disk image to a gzip is giving cpu errors on vice, so I doubt it will work on the mini... and as for Marble Madness, yeah the new disk swap thing is a good solution, but I would rather have them saved to the carousel
