I wonder if someone could show what is in sdl_sym_es.vkm from THEC64 MINI. I have not hacked my Mini yet. Maybe this file doesn't exist and some other vkm-file is created. What I wonder is how they get Alt+8 to type '['. This key combination is documented here: retrogames.biz/thec64-mini/keyboard/, see ES.

But I've checked and ALT-8 to '[' is defined by: 5 5 257 /* ALT+8 -> [ */

Thanks, I got the FEL mode working on the screen and copied the file to a USB flash drive! There is a 9 before 5 5 257. theC64-sym-ES.vkm:
