A big hello from Germany!

Im a Dutch 44 yo c64 enthusiastic living currently in the north of Germany and ofcourse bought a c64 min for 64,00 Euro a while ago. Just FYI.

Its updated, with a USB Hub and a Gamepad from a well known german hardware online shop (Brand Sertronics, an iNNext simulair gamepad just about a few Euros cheaper).

Problem i have is that i cannot play OUTRUN and ON COURT TENNIS. Both with the original c64 mini joystick and the gamepad it refuses to start as i cannot seem to "fire". Also tried the
real iNNext pad that was advised on a few websites, but same issue.

Both games i downloaded in different zips and sites, but somehow it fails to work. Overall even 2 Player like Microprose Soccer works with both original joystick and the gamepad connected.

Any ideas?

You can try online CJM configuration tool, for same thing.

With CJM conf. tool you can easily remap some button - at least, it will help you to detect the problem.

Keep an eye on this forum thec64community.online/board/37/games-cjm-files-file-loader as I am very close to posting a version of The Definitive C64 Collection I posted earlier all configured to work properly with CJMs. I am currently in progress of testing all of them to make sure they all load properly and operate properly with joysticks. I just only have a short window when I get home from work to do any of this before I have to go to bed before work.
