I've created a little tool (for Windows) that help c64 mini users to create the CJM files to configure the environment for the programs.
Anyone that is intersted can download the tool at:

the number in the filename indicate the version number.

There is still room for further improvements, e.g. as Steve Jones at fb group said:

Another one suggestion:
Assigning (other, custom) keyboard keys to Joystick buttons?
Officially, allowed values are only those at "button mapping" table. But it should be examined thoroughly.
e.g. at C64, inputs from game port 1 (Joystick 1) are already hard-wired internally to C64 keyboard keys (= equal), in following order:

UP=1
DOWN=LEFT ARROW
LEFT=CTRL
RIGHT=2
FIRE=SPACEBAR

So we already have those 5 extra keyboard keys, in some way.

It should be easily tested by using this short BASIC program

I encountered some quirky behaviour within certain pairs of buttons. I had discussed it a bit on the FB thread, but starting to think a better home for this kind of tech talk is in the community forum:

I especially wanted to put this behaviour on Emanuele and Shane's radars, in-case they feel they ought to add some enforcement of those paired-button relationships into their cjm configurator tools.
