I bought the TPLink UE300 before realizing it was only tested on the A500.
I've tried following all the tips and can't seem to get the adapter to come up.
Anyone test if it works on THEC64 Maxi?

Wow.... I'm trying to find one of the tested adapters here in the US and no joy.
Are there any unlisted known-good adapters and where to buy them?

You could try forcing r8152.ko to load, it seems to support some RTL8153-based adapters. To do so, edit the usbnet file (which should be in .options/pcuae_network/bin) and replace the line: MODULE=$(grep $ID $BASEDIR/${MODEL}/lib/modules/3.4.39/modalias.txt | awk -F"[:.]" '{printf("%s\n",$1)}' | uniq)
with: MODULE=r8152.ko
And then give it a try. |
