Several months back Nostalgia Nerd did a video on this upcoming product, and here's his latest video on it. I think it's fantastic. Yeah, you can buy pretty cheap dongles less than $20 to do things like convert SVideo, Compost, Scart, RF, or VGA to HDMI, but you'll need one for each application unless you buy a much more expensive multi format converter, and often at least the cheaper dongles lack other features for retro game specific uses. Plus this monitor not only has all that, but it's got the retro look.

No one use polystyrene any more, they use cardboard as filling, last product that had one was a Amstrad Emailer E3 from 2004, it can not be recycled so why its not used and it can brake and get damaged. Nostalgia Nerd sounds like someone from the Gadget Show on Channel 5...

He's done some excellent history videos on both the UK and North America computers and consoles from the 70's and 80's. He's been one of the best sources of this information to me in learning about machines I never knew about from other countries. A few others are 8 Bit Guy, Retro Man Cave, Modern Vintage Gamer, or The Retro Hour podcast. It's great stuff to create a playlist to listen to when falling asleep.
