Hoping to see if anybody else has gotten Castle of Terror to run correctly. on my maxi it gets stuck on the title screen. The lower section of the screen gets garbled and then just hangs. I've tried two different game images with the same result.

Did you check to see if the OneLoad collection has this game? They've converted many games to run on anything from original C64 hardware using an SD2IEC, to Retropie on a Raspberry Pi, to the mini and maxi. If it hasn't been converted yet, they take requests for their next release version.

C64 Mini and Maxi using latest firmware. Also fixing and restoring Commodore hardware to add to my collection.
