I finally got one, it cost £124.98(£119.99 plus £4.99 for 2 to 4 day Delivery(took 2 days to arrive delivered by DPD, delivery should of been free really), a lot of money for what it is, it should be a lot cheaper, its $99 in the US on My Arcades website so £79.06 in pounds, so GAME are making £40 pound extra on each one they sell... DO NOT BUY FROM GAME, its way over its RRP price in the US, if you can get it from Amazon UK, I have seen it on there for £98 even that abit much too, I got it from GAME because I didn't want to wait up to 2 weeks of it to be delivered, GAME AGSP Website... www.game.co.uk/en/my-arcade-atari-gamestation-pro-2925094 I will be adding PCUAE to it, at the moment I am porting the Atari2600 version of PCUAE to it, but it might be able to use yaft so able to use the PCUAE Menus because it uses fb0 but have not got round to check it yet. I might change the GUI abit, but not a lot, maybe new background image for the Atari Games using Arcade 84 image, I am not a lover of the background images it uses, I might use images from 3D Arcade too, pictures of its Arcades as background images and its Arcade Cabinet Models for the Arcade screenshot on the GUI Menu, most users know what the games arcade cabinet looks like if you played the game before, like you know what the game cover of a game looks like you played before, and 3D Arcade cabinet models look better(see below). I will probably add a way to add themes and change them by a shortcut menu or by a yaft menu item, maybe a 3DArcade theme... It looks quite good... You be able to change the images too, if you want too, they will be in `PCUAE USB Drive:\.options\agsp_files\minigui\res\images` folder. You be able to run PCUAE from the SD Card or USB Drive, it will check if it sees the SD Card or the USB Drive and if PCUAE is on it then run PCUAE from it but if you run PCUAE from the SD Card then you will not be able to hot swap PCUAE to another machine because it will be using exFAT, the other machines use FAT32, that will only work on a USB Drive and formatted in MBR and FAT32 then you be able to swap machines. Stay Tuned for more info.

So are you planning a replacement of 1.30c firmware, patched or what not? I would still like the ability edit the execution scripts to my liking for each game if that's possible (custom cfg files, etc.).

Fantastic news! The Gamestation Pro is a good machine but the built in GUI, not so much. The arcade layout looks much better. Thanks for all your hard work on PCUAE!

Cool. I plan to eventually get one. I think I prefer it over the 2600+ but eventually when I start collecting 2600 cartridges I'll probably pick up a 2600+ too. I like that it has original 2600 joystick ports and they're selling new Atari branded joysticks and paddles, but I like the retro 5200/7800 looks of the Game station Pro and that it runs arcade games out of the box.
In the states I hear that either Sam's Club or is it Costco is selling the Pro cheaper than anybody, or at least they were a few months ago.

The company making the 2600+, besides selling new Atari joysticks and paddles that work with the 2600+ and original hardware and other retro machines like the C64 or Amiga that use the original controller plug, is also selling this real nice one. "Based on the gamepad included with the European version of the Atari 7800 released in 1987, the CX78+ Gamepad features two fire buttons and a small thumbstick (included) that can be optionally screwed into the d-pad, offering more flexibility when using this controller with your favorite games." That's the controller they should have sold with the original 7800 in North America instead of the piece of crap they bundled it with. It probably would have greatly helped 7800 sales. Attachments:

Figured out I could use the startup.sh file in the AGSP custom firmware to boot PCUAE... I got it partly working so its booting into PCUAE Mode so mounting the GUI on the USB Drive so running it from there and not the firmware, you will have to have a SD card with the startup.sh script on it to load PCUAE, its in the agsp folder, it was the only way into the firmware, I made a flag file(run_pcuae_from_startup) so if the script see it then it boots PCUAE if it does not then load a backup of the startup.sh so runs the code that was in it originally so it can be uses with the custom firmware...

Makes sense to me. The custom firmware is a copy on the SD and allows launching of anything. You could install PCUAE to a folder then have a script to launch it automatically from next boot and a PCUAE menu item to switch PCUAE off and let the custom firmware boot instead.

Video of PCUAE Mode running on the Atari Gamestation Pro I called it PCUAE LCA Edition because I added pictures of a Arcade I made in 3D Arcade Unity called Luna City Arcade(it was based on a real home arcade in the USA), I thought it would look good in AGSP GUI. This is just to show it working, its got a long way to go before its finished, I only just got PCUAE Mode working so have not tested the other modes yet. and wanted to show I am working on it... The good thing about this is you only need the Custom Firmware v1.3.0c for PCUAE to work, it uses its startup.sh script to run it from the SD Card, you will need a SD Card for PCUAE to work and a USB Stick to store PCUAE on, if you want to run it that way, you will be able to install PCUAE to the SD Card if you want too but it will need a txt flag file on the SD Card telling it where PCUAE is installed, more about that later and nearer the time of its release, things could change between now and then. Enjoy... Spannernick.

I can't install PCUAE to a folder, that would mean every machine would have to be installed that way too and some things need to be on the root of the drive for it to work on other machines, when I add PCUAE to another machine I have to think how it boots on other machines too so I do not mess it up on other machines...
