I have followed the instructions and installed PCUAE using the All In One version. When I run the 'fake' firmware, it installs properly on my C64 Maxi. I am mainly interested in running this in 'vice mode', but when I go to the mode changer, select Vice Mode and pick the machine I want to emulate (C64), everything appears fine until the device resets. It will then start to load and says it is starting 'vice mode', but the scree will just turn black after that and nothing else happens...
I have tried this with two different flash drives with the same results. I followed the instructions to export the 'favorites 1' playlist, but feel I must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

You may need a higher current power supply than the one that was originaly supplied.
Try a high power phone charger.
The current drawn by other modes is higher.

Thanks for the suggestion! I was using a 3A Power supply. I just tried a different 3A power supply with the same results. The other modes in PCUAE seem to work, the only one I am having problems with is VICE mode. I did find out that when Vice mode boots and goes to the black screen, I am able to press CTRL-F3 to get the system to go back to the carousel menu, so the system was not locked up, just not displaying anything....

Similar issue here on v4. The setup runs fine but on reboot rather than a black screen I am getting stuck on the TheVic20 splash boot screen with the music.

The problem is I do not have THEVIC20 anymore I flashed THEC64 firmware on it and now its in THEC64 Mini case(for space) so might have to false PCUAE to load THEVIC20 on THEC64 and see what its doing.
It could be a clash between scripts where it runs a command on one script and runs a command on another script at the same time and then they are clashing each other and kill the commands out so why you just see THEVIC20 boot screen, I got a clash the other day where it was not mounting the gamecontollerdb.txt file so I put it in a different script as a back up so it did the command later in the boot sequence then it mounted it ok, the carousel needs it otherwise some the buttons on the joystick do not work on the carousel.
