Manged to connect to its UART and Putty so I see its login, its Buildroot 2018.02-rc3. As Flinn from Tron would say.... "THEN ONE DAY... I GOT IN"... (thanks jj_0... But one problem, its roofs is a squashed image on the nand(like on the Amstrad E3 emailer, only UK users know what that was) so its mounded as read only and can not be changed, but I can see its shadow password, the shadow file in etc/, well its hash from it. root:$1$fe95lm6r$DILUbEqcN6fp4mmq9WgN9/:10933:0:99999:7::: Can anyone decipher it...? Its a MD5 HASH, $1$ is Message Digest 5 (MD5) One thing I noticed, it has a retroarch.cfg in the etc/ folder so it might be using Retroarch for Stella. Attachments:

The Atari2600+ uses the same IC GH001 IC as THEA500 Mini THEGamepad does. It uses one IC a GH002 you could say so its has 2 controllers as DB9 Ports. It even has Retro Games LTD in its name.

The emulator its using is Retroarch 1.7.4, it makes sense because it does not have enough ram to run a new version, RA 1.7.0 is the only one I could get working on THEC64 Mini/THEC64 because they have 256mb ram only too.
The emulator and its binary dmenu.bin is in /oem partition rkflash0p7, rkflash0p7 is mounted to the oem folder, its not part of the firmware because its a compressed squashfs file system, this way they only need to change the /oem partition when they release a update and it stops hackers or moders playing around with the firmware so to add a file to the firmware you would need to copy its whole partition first as a img file then add the file to the img file then copy it back over the firmware partition.

If its using Retroarch 1.7.4 then would the latest stella core work with this build so the newer games that require Arm assist ( champ games) such as Gorf arcade be made to work with an update? Has anyone here got the rom dumper side of it working yet as was going to try dump my Mr Run and (continually die ) jump cartridge.
