There is new Basic edition now v3.3.1 this includes. PCUAE Mode PCUAE Update v3.3.1.117 Vice Mode You cannot install other modes Its just carousel And Vice Mode it`s for people who don't want more than that You can download it on the website there is also Basic AIO with games projectcarouselusb.eu/ |

Davy, on your site, the C64 mini & maxi versions of PCUAE THEC64 - Standalone v3.3.1 Setup (@ 1.36 gig) differ in size compared to the the v 3.3.1 release on Github (@ 1.60 gig) Is there a reason for the size difference? I do like the way you have given each machine its own section |

Tried the stand alone basic edition from the site and all seems to work except I when I try and load the Amora carousel for some Vic 20 games, it just stays on either Argent or Ares and wont load any.

EDIT - FOUND THE BUG
On the mini the first Vic 20 folders has to be named like this "VIC20_A_to_G" if it is named like "VIC20_0_to_G" with a nought as the first symbol the mini will only load the argent carousel and you wont be able to play any vic games on the mini.
I had used the game folders from the standalone basic and this was the problem.
Not sure if this bug was specific to my set up but it but I can replicate it by just changing the vic 20 folder name back to "VIC20_0_to_G"
All is now working fine with both stand alone and the basic versions. I can also now play all my memory tagged Vic 20 games in classic mode through the USB file launcher too. =)
Load times have now been massively improved since I last tried PCUAE and i have to take my hat off to all the team involved, it has come on leaps and bounds.
I will be trying this out on the MAXi with all the modes next =)
