Hey, I discovered this forum when out of nowhere I wondered if someone figured out how to connect TheC64 to the internet yet. I really want to use the Mini to go on a BBS. I have a bunch of the Mini's and one Maxi, the instructions look kind of long but I do similar tech stuff for a living and think (hope) I'll be okay installing it. One question I have is in the Github wiki where it states : USB Mode(USBOTG)
For this to work you will need a USB A to USB A Cable and connect one end to the USB Port on the back of the machine(THEC64 Maxi/THEVIC20 Only) and the other end plugged into a USB port of your PC running Windows 7/10 or Linux. Is it really only possible with the Maxi and not the Mini? I'd prefer to experiment with my Mini since I have multiples, some were never unboxed and have the shipping FW if that matters. If this was covered somewhere then sorry, I missed it when searching.

USB Mode(USBOTG) its not the internet, its only for seeing the USB Drive or NAND on Windows as a drive. Internet does work on both THEC64 Mini and THEC64 Maxi its called PCUAE Network Mode, but you will need a USB Ethernet Adapter, but it needs to work with one of its drivers in PCUAE so it only supports some network chips in the adapter so you will need to find the right one. Its here in the wiki.. github.com/CommodoreOS/PCUAE/wiki#13how-to-use-pcuae-network-mode

Thanks, I should have been clearer. The USB mode part was something I saw while searching links on PCUAE and wondered if it was limited to the Maxi. I understand the Internet part working on both, I'll go forward with the Maxi since I think I want to use its keyboard anyway. The internet part got my attention and then I was distracted by the other features available
