I just received my TheGAMEPAD for use with my TheC64 full size. Sometimes when I turn on the unit, the controls are backwards, Left moves Right, Right moves Left etc. And if I move the selector down (from the carousel to select the USB) it will go crazy and select through all the options super fast without me even touching the controller. Usually I turn off then back on again my TheC64 and it works fine. Firmware is up to date at the latest (theC64-1.6.1-amora) Anyone else experience this? Other then that, great controller!

Do not know why, it could be a kernel thing because I know it has a problem working with Amiberryv5 on THEA500 Mini, when I get the time I'll looking to it more.
When this happens is it plugged in already, do you plug it in before you turn on the machine, if it does it when its plugged in its might be its gamecontrollerdb.txt file it stores the joysticks and controllers it supports and using the wrong one at boot up so try it without it plugged in when you turn it on then plug it in and if it works then do that for the time being.

Thanks for the reply Just did a quick test Controller plugged in then turn on unit - issue happened Controller unplugged, then turn on unit, then plug in - it happened, but only once
And now, of course, I can't duplicate the issue. Go figure
I'm ok with the reboot and it works solution right now though

Well, I found a fix for my issue with TheGamepad and TheC64 full size.
I have been using the joystick/gamepad with one of the side USB ports near the power button, and the rear USB for my usb stick. Switching those around fixed the problem. Gamepad plugged in the rear USB post and my usb drive on the side and it works fine every time Not sure why - but I'll take it
