Hopefully this is the correct place to post. Back at the end of 1988 my school friend and myself planned to set up a software company called Taskmaster Software. We had a list of games we planned to release. the first of these got as far as being send out for play testing before life got in the way. Somehow one of the play testing versions found its way to the Internet and a couple of month ago I was contacted for information about it. This lead to hunt through old media and notebooks to recover the lost games. The first 3 have been released on the ZX Spectrum and work is now ongoing to convert these to other platforms. As a result the first release for the C64 is available and can be downloaded from here The Mystery of Markham Manor
It is available in two version one with graphics which load from disk and will be quite slow on a physical C64 and one without graphics. I hope someone enjoys this release.

Very cool. You must be excited to find the old code and give it the release it never had. You should send an email to Retro Recipes and tell him your story along with some video of the games because he does little segments on stuff like this on his regularly released video episodes called "The Retro Show" and your story is perfect it. It's probably the best regularly produced retro show there is. The production is top notch, probably because he has a background in working in Hollywood. He's also made appearances in movies such as Star Wars. I can almost guarantee you he'll show the games and tell the background story of how they finally made it to the public after all these years. It's the kind of story he loves to cover in little theme segments of the show such as New Old News or Nostalgia Flakes.
