I get stuck at this screen every time I try to install PCUAE on my A500 mini... I've previously tried older versions of Pandory and AGS separately, and everything worked fine, but I started with a clean USB to try and install PCUAE so I could keep both firmware versions in case I ever need the original one. Just wondering if anyone has any advice. Thanks. Attachments:

Which PCUAE start up did you uses...? What firmware are you on...? PLEASE put it in your signature, it part of the RULES here, like me. Check first to see what firmware version your on then run the right one, they only work with the right firmware so if you run `PCUAE_StartUp(Firmware_v1.0.0)` on Firmware V1.1.1 then it will not work and vice versa. PCUAE_StartUp(Firmware_v1.0.0) - You run this if your on firmware v1.0.0

PCUAE_StartUp(Firmware_v1.1.1) - You run this if your on firmware v1.1.1 Starting PCUAE in Firmware v1.0.0, it auto detects that I have Autoboot Mode enabled already.    If it says Left Fire Button I mean press A Button, I forget to change it cause the same screen is used for THEC64 too and that has THEC64 Joystick so has left and right Fire buttons so not THEGampad A,B,X,Y buttons. |

did you used PCUAE before on that machine ?  I accidentally had the old version of PCUAAE before, not realising it had been merged with regular PCUAE, so now I am trying to get the latest PCUAE on it. I have updated my signature with my firmware version, 1.0.0... Is there a simple way to get everything started from scratch again? If not i might as well just update to the legit 1.1.1 but I'd rather keep the possibility of using 1.0.0 in case it ever proves to be useful. Cheers. |

you can update autoboot with latest script but you need few files and version you used before and which version is that ? Previously Iused pcuaae1.2.0e-a500-240622-setup Thanks for your help  |

install old version off pcu on stick place the folowing files in Carousel_Games/Options/boot folder and overwrite them my.hidrive.com/lnk/VOCFHHFOrun it and update / install autoboot script in mode changer option 1 and after that turn it off when its finished install latest version and boot it thats it Awesome, thanks, I will try it in a few hours  |

Thanks guys, I finally got everything working but I think I am just gonna end up updating to 1.1.1 after all.
Is it safe enough to just install the official 1.1.1 via a clean USB stick or will it mess anything up now that I've already installed PCUAE?

its does not mess it up if you have PCUAE and it does nothing to autoboot script but there is always a risk updating to the latest firmware update but use a clean usb stick for updating firmware Thanks again |
