I mean modify the firmware so it boots into Vice only,like on the RPI3,cos it is linux that it runs so it could just run the latest version of Vice from USB..?
Latest version has better Sid support so sound better,and the sid sound on the C64 Mini at the moment sound flat and some of the sounds the sid makes is not there cos of the version of Vice the C64 Mini uses can't do that,load up a game called Yars Revenge,its a Atari Game Port and listen to the music then load it up on a real C64 and you will see what I mean,The music sounds great on a C64..
